Pros
Learn lots about the industry! I frequently shared industry information with friends. Staff functions weekly (beer on tap!) as well as regular summer BBQs. Lots of laughing....one needs to be more open minded to work here. HR ensures new employees are educated on each department and the products regardless of which department you are working in. Free Parking, great kitchen/lunch room. Flexible work schedule including allowing for work time appointments, working from home.
Cons
You often need to be selective who you tell about the company...my parents have no idea exactly what type of products they make! Like any company there are a couple of controlling people and negative people.
