Small company with limited growth

Pros

Good place to start. Good place to pick up valuable skills. Decent vacation time after working there for a year.

Cons

No real pay incentives. No real promotional structure. After 1 year your skills stagnate. WFH job but unless you have special privileges you have to go into the office every day anyway. Any plans to actually WFH never pan out.

Good for experience, but that is it.

Pros

You get to learn good skills here.

Cons

No real pay raises, the raise you get is to keep up with what they pay new hires. Promotions come with more responsibility but no pay raises. Expect quite a bit more responsibilities then what you are being paid for. Feels that unless you have been in the company for an extended period of time you are not listened to and overall if you are younger you are not taken as seriously. Expected to come in the office sick even we have the ability to work from home. It is frowned upon to work from home it seem from upper management.
