Leadership is fundamentally broken. There is disagreement at the top for direction. Ultimate direction is decided by fiat without evidence of benefit to the company. Executive oversight does not hold the CEO to account for decisions. Communication from leadership is cagey secretive, and conspiratorial at the best of times, and at the worst of times, accusatory of expectations without setting clear goal, silent about direction and intent, or completely chaotic.

too many too list- but mostly the gist of it is that there was a huge gap between the espoused values and the enacted values. Tons of effort and dollars went into innovation and leadership theater while simultaneously the single owner still running the business in a fairly unilateral, controlling, and transactional manner.
