Pros

Work from home - that is it.

Cons

Valenz used to be a great place to work. There were some onboarding issues and things that needed some work but overall, it was a nice place to work. You could expect to feel appreciated, you enjoyed the work you were doing, leadership was helpful. That has significantly changes over the last year or so. There are so many to list, where do you start. *There is no actual PTO. You will be required to meet quarterly goals and will need to make up for any time off. Good luck getting any type of rest and relaxation, ever. *You will be promised a bonus as part of your benefit package - good luck achieving the requirements to receive it *Do you like being micromanaged constantly? If so, this is the place for you *Do you like having your leadership speak to you as though you are a child and ignore everything you suggest? Go ahead, apply. *Do you like feeling like you are never doing enough, or like you are never doing a good job even when you bend over backwards and take no time off? Again, this is the one for you. *Raises are a joke. When you do the math, you will see you are actually taking a pay cut. *You can expect to feel heard momentarily, but nothing will actually come of anything you bring to the table. *Your work will not be centered around actual patients, and their actual needs, instead you will be a bottom-line meeting, billing machine. *Management will not follow protocol when dealing with any type of issues at the workplace, you will be written up and given a final warning without being able to provide any details of your own regarding a situation - regardless of whether you have any type of history or not *You can can expect a very hostile work environment where you are fearful to bring anything up because you will likely find yourself on the unemployment line if you do *You can expect to be gaslit on a regular basis; constantly reminded of how important the employees are yet never actually heard or taken seriously *Management will not respond when you have a concern *Mid-management will make it very apparent that things "are the way they are" and you really have no valid opinion. Like it, or leave. *You will not be regarded as a professional *Benefits atrocious and unaffordable

Pros

Work from home. Flexible time to go to appointments. Decent salary.

Cons

Everything else is terrible. It used to be a good company until new upper management took over. Health insurance is unaffordable for families. We are paid biweekly and the insurance premium equals half your paycheck for families, so my family is uninsured. We have unlimited PTO but good luck using it, micromanaged like crazy, unattainable bonus structure, TERRIBLE raises and hard to reach productivity goals. You’d think salary is a good thing, but it isn’t because the productivity goals are a joke. Many employees have to stay until 6, 7, 8 and sometimes 9pm to reach goals - therefore no OT pay because you’re salaried. There’s so many more negatives to write so I’ll close with this: Stay away from this company if you know what’s good for you. They preach transparent work culture who are open to suggestions but it seems to me that people are reprimanded when they speak up. They say there’s no retaliation, but the terrible annual raises say otherwise.

Pros

Work from home, that's about it.

Cons

Heavy workload, unrealistic expectations, no direction from mgmt, no team morale. No training, no updated training (new tasks/skills assigned without instruction/process); poor/unfair/patronizing lower & upper management; send a personal message to upper leadership & their response is a general email to the whole team not to your message; unprofessional; chaotic acquisition left existing employees scrambling to complete "new hire" training and maintain full workload/expectations/struggle to meet monthly quotas; no reviews or raises; no recognition, no appreciation, no validation; no growth opportunities; new CEO preached of culture we never saw any culture, we saw unprofessionalism and chaos. Several years with the prior company then less than a year with Valenz.
