Pros

Location, made friends with coworkers

Cons

This business is very poorly run. All the owner cares about is how much money he can make and thinks throwing pizza parties are compensation for hard work. Half of the company quit within a year because morale became very low. The owner and CEO micromanages and belittles his employees. This job is extremely hard work for very little pay. They will tell you it’s uncapped commission and high earning potential but it’s penny’s compared to what the owner makes off of the sale. I guarantee the company will not make it through 2025.

Pros

The company was hybrid and that was a positive that allowed for some pretty solid flexibility(more on this in cons). The employees at this company are awesome and everyone gets along nicely. Sadly the common ground for this camaraderie is always the disdain for the ceo (will explain further in cons). The work is interesting and you have a plethora of opportunity to grow and learn about energy if you are proactive. The pay is actually pretty good when you first start.

Cons

The ceo is a bad people manager and makes questionable decisions all the time. The first being he re-took power in mid 2024 and decided to bring everyone in full time with 1 week of notice and did not ask for any feedback or show willingness to work with employees to see how this would affect them. It was one of the most absurd decisions Ive ever witnessed from a ceo to not consult a single person, more or less even upper management. After all this was said and done changes were made to the bonus structure that basically revoked money from your pocket after they had initially added a baseline percentage based on performance. The performance reviews for raises and bonuses are even more of a joke, it is basically reuse to get you to put in a lot of effort to explain what you’ve done and please him for him to then just completely ignore what you said and give you an abysmal raise or bonus. The worst part about this company is the people management. There have been some fantastic people that worked here. They could've really moved the company in the right direction, but because the ceo is too prideful and unwilling to pay people what they deserve he loses them after a few years. If you look at the attrition in the last 2/3 years you would be shocked. Very few people stay and those who do stay are not able to put in the time to properly interview with other companies. If you you have to work here use every development opportunity you can, learn as much as possible, then use that to just go elsewhere where they will treat you right.

Pros

The employees there are kind and the office is in a great location.

Cons

The owner and current CEO Brian Coughlan is extremely inappropriate and suggestive towards young women in the workplace. He is controlling, threatening, and temperamental. The businesses is very poorly run, with a third of the employees quitting within a month of his return to the company. The company is failing- it is only a matter of time before it doesn't exist anymore. The office environment is extremely negative and depressing because every employee is unhappy there.
