Pros

You can set your own hours and work as much or as little as you want.

Cons

Pay is low for the amount of time required for certain jobs, and considering the fact that some require quite a bit of attention to detail and judgement. The biggest issue though is that you get marked on all your jobs and penalized for going too fast (which is fine for jobs that require more detail, but there are some that could be done more quickly and still accurately, so this just affects your rate), and if you make a mistake according to their judgement. However, I have had several instances where the 'correct' answer is very clearly wrong, or a matter of interpretation. Most jobs don't allow you to indicate why you disagree, and even for those that do, you put in your argument indicating the clear error that you had noted, and submit, but nothing happens and you are still penalized. Also, many jobs have unclear guidelines, or you are marked wrong when actively following the guidelines, or the coaching on how to answer correctly is highly inconsistent and contradicts itself (probably where different people put in the 'correct' rationale. There is also too much competition for jobs. All this makes it hard to actually make money or be successful with this.
