Mediocre pay, poor benefits

Pros

If you negotiate hard enough your base pay will be competitive but not amazing. Everyone works remote.

Cons

401k used to be terrible and is now mediocre (50% matching on the first 6% of your salary contribution). Employees asked for more choices in healthcare coverage, so they gave the option to have double the deductibles for a 20% increase in cost or pay a little less and get SIGNIFICANTLY worse coverage. Yay for choices! Cost of living (assuming the company does well enough to give them out - there are clauses that allow them to not do them at all) is capped at 3%. (because that definitely matches inflation). This year they're looking to add merit based adjustments but the manager has to average 3% across reports so you can only reward a high performer at the cost of their coworkers (I'm sure that won't come back to bite you). Managment at the top can be very micromanaging and push artificial deadlines thinking it squeezes out more productivity (when in reality it just means corners are cut...look forward to those decisions haunting you in 6mo). They preach a lot about caring for employees but I'll believe it when I see it in action and not in a speech.

Lots of potential that is misdirected by upper management

Pros

There are a lot of really talented and motivated people who work here. Some people have creative ideas and are forward-thinking. Depending on your client team, there may be room for advancement.

Cons

For as many talented people as there are who work here, they are frequently stifled by lack of innovation from management, and lack of foresight for long-term industry opportunities. Workloads and timelines are unrealistic and hiring practices need to be revisited. Some senior-level employees do the bare minimum, and their abysmal work ethic remains unchecked because of their ability to look good on paper.

Pros

* Decent work life balance and remote work opportunities

Cons

* Benefits are absolutely terrible: The company provides all of the standard benefits (Medical, dental, etc), however, the coverages and deductibles are astronomical. This doesn't even make enrolling in the benefits worth it. The 401K match and provisions are very poor as well. Terrible matching. Bad all around. * Terrible upper management: Upper management heavily micromanages employee's daily work and schedule. This makes it very difficult in a remote work setting. * Constant turnover * Terrible pay structure and very low raises every year, even though upper management seems to be doing just fine year after year * Extremely low pay compared to other competitors. * Very poor work "culture".
