Pros

Very good food and laundry is always on time!

Cons

You are expected to be expert in many different trades. ET,Electrician,Mechanic,engineering and marine. Lowest paid offshore NFLD. Benefits are very substandard for industry. Worst weather conditions for offshore work in world!

Steady income, safety conscious work environment. Fast paced and challenging, will keep you fit.

Cons

Away from home 6 months a year. No cost of living increments in years. Salary and benefits decreasing while responsibilities increasing. Great expense to pay for initial training and no job security.
