Pros

Traba has an incredible team of people, everyone is working towards the same goal and the teamwork and work ethic of everyone is fantastic. Everyone in the company knows the company's goals and how they play their part. We all work together to make sure that we are achieving both the day-to-day goals and the long-term targets. The communication between the levels and department is great and everyone is an open book, You are actively encouraged to ask questions and question how something is done and congratulated for it rather than looked down on. It's a place for ideas. If you have a good idea for something that doesn't exist yet within the company or its product then you are also encouraged to share it. If it's then something that the company can do it will get created, not just spoken about for 6 months then forgotten. There is also a great opportunity for career growth as the company expands and hits its goals there will always be more roles to fill with eager and well-performing people.

Cons

The hours are long, there's no denying that so there is little work-life balance, but if you're ok with that and you aren't afraid of working hard then you don't notice the time go by.

Pros

*Top investors that give the business legitimacy. *Talented team, but most of the best people have quit in the last 6 months. *Ownership and ability to experiment, but this is overshadowed by the cons

Cons

*Function through threats. Threaten their employees and have even threatened a past employee with reaching out to their current employer after the past employee posted a negative review on Glassdoor. *Autocratic, un-empathetic, and inexperienced people leadership. There is no nurturing of talent or "growth mindset" when it comes to people. *Leadership has received the same feedback repeatedly and pretend it is news every time, then try to hand off building and implementing the solution to those who suffer from their incompetence. This is present in business operations, product, and people management *Those who stay in line and nod along with every decision leadership makes are rewarded. Anyone who voices a different opinion or gives feedback is structured out of the organization. Say they are all for feedback but can't take it. *Most of the positive reviews are from the same day(s), draw your own conclusions. *Disrespect the app workers and then say their mission is to empower them? *Every value they supposedly stand for... it's the complete opposite.

Pros

Got to work with some pretty smart people (before most of them quit or got fired in waves over a few months)

Cons

Experienced a lot of odd behavior during my time at Traba. At the end of the day, it was not a good fit for several reasons. - Leadership was not forthright during the interview process about the job description and responsibilities (realized this after joining, which felt like getting swindled) - Toxic behavior was praised and rewarded (promotions reserved for people who actively talk over others, who systematically put people down, and who make jokes about taking credit for others' work) - The "we love to grind" and "we're the only people left in this entire world who love to grind" attitude is incredibly naive and not an effective mechanism to grow an organization (beyond the frat boys it currently employs) - The CEO seems to only care about his relationship with investors. He knew very little about the product during my time at the company. This was alarming. - Worst of all, the way that workers were talked about was inappropriate, and this was not at all checked or curbed by leadership. Naturally, light-industrial temp workers are going to be a more vulnerable population, and there was no respect for that dynamic built into the culture at Traba.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do our best to be upfront with every hire that we work startup hours and are committed to working towards ambitious outcomes. Traba thrives in a meritocratic work environment and we only hire and retain top talent to drive rapid growth and customer satisfaction. We are unapologetic in our high standards and understand that may pose challenges for some, resulting in some people getting laid off due to poor performance.
