Pros

Good benefit package. Good co-workers

Cons

The Hiawathaland Transit is seriously flawed with priorities so far out of whack it makes us laugh. The transportation compliance manager is disqualified from driving a bus because their driving history doesn't meet insurance minimums. Is that leading with integrity or promoting empowerment and self-sufficiency? The mechanic brags about how great they are but can't seem to fix the simplest issues. They gives up after half a day of messing around and the bus has to go to a shop. The buses are rundown and sometimes do not pass state inspections. There is a ton of turn over. People who stay seem to conform to the culture which is sad. People who leave do so because they recognize how bad it is and want better.

Pros

Friendly staff, great at helping people, supportive in the community

Cons

Training was not very organized, a lot of turnaround, some senior staff were rude, and not great communication between manager when traveling to other sites, no guarantee of a raise every year as it is a non-profit. I never experienced a year of no getting one but knew that it was a possibility.

Pros

Good benefits, more jobs being created

Cons

With new jobs being creating the company is starting to micromanage more and making employees feel not trusted.
