      Pros

Pays pretty well, and the office is really nice.

      Cons

I spent a long time at Third Point, working very hard and devoting many hours of focus and care to my work. But company leadership are horrible, selfish people, who only care about making money. They are aggressive and frequently let their emotions bubble over, lashing out at anyone who displeases them. Yelling at others is often applauded there. They care very little about employee wellbeing, refuse to take feedback, and keep toxic employees for long periods of time without consequences. This behavior trickles down through all parts of the company. Many people are two-faced, being nice to your face but saying negative things about you behind your back to your colleagues and even your manager. The expectations are extremely antiquated. They want you to work as many hours as possible, put in face time in the office even if unnecessary, shame you for taking vacations, and are constantly disappointed with the work they ask you to create. Even if you meet or exceed these expectations you will not be rewarded as you hoped. If you are thinking about taking a job here, run away. This place is a vortex of toxicity and will add a ton of stress to your life. It's not worth it. There are many better places to work. Leaving this company was the best thing I ever did.

        Pros

Free lunch? But $20 limit. Cheapos! Can barely get soup and half a sandwich for $20 in NYC.

        Cons

When the CEO tells you what you can and cannot leave on your desk and where to hang up your coat, you know fascism is alive and kicking. They pay well but do you want money to own your soul? Life is too short for that garbage. I wouldn't waste time with these losers and just keep walking.

I finished final round interview. Should I send a thank you letter to everyone or only to people where I have something interesting to add on. I interviewed with the hiring manager twice already and sent thank you emails. He never responds, should I even bother to send him one more since we talked again in the final round? HR said I wouldn’t hear back until late next week earliest. It sounds like they still have to wrap up final rounds with other people. I don’t want them to forget me.

I interviewed for a position virtually and in person both interviews went well. I sent my Thank you email and never heard back from the department. They were interested in me and asked me to reach back out to them, it’s surprising they never responded to me.

      Data Engineer

Got a possible interview coming up with Pepsico as a data engineer in the DFW, TX area. It's more towards an entry-beginner type of role. Anyone know what kind of questions I should be expecting in the technical part of the interview?
