Hi there, it’s Mark, Tempo CEO. I want to thank you for taking the time to candidly share your perspective on Glassdoor. We always try to be transparent with how Tempo is doing, where we are heading, and why we believe a particular direction is best for the company. Our growth has been incredible –especially considering the current macro headwinds impacting so many companies– and our customers and partners are increasingly asking us to help address more and more of their challenges. This kind of market pull is an excellent signal of the value we deliver and continued momentum for the company, but it also requires that we rethink some of our processes, products, and the way we are organized so that we can scale to meet what the customers are asking. You are correct, this has led to a lot of changes over the last two years, as Tempo has been evolving and transforming to be more of an enterprise solutions provider. In some cases it required that we reorganize how some teams are structured and operate. It has also been the time during which we truly unify the teams who joined us via an acquisition. For many Templings, this has been exciting and created an opportunity for them to take on more responsibilities and/or to evolve their roles. We know the changes can be a lot to process and for some people the changes are not welcomed. We also know that the Town Hall/Company Update Zoom calls can be a challenging format to communicate the subtleties of sometimes sensitive organizational changes. As always, mine and the rest of the Leadership teams’ doors are always open so please do ping us if you’d like more context 1on1.

Pros

Pay is okay Co-workers are good & smart people

Cons

- The changes to management made the company culture disappear - I wouldn't trust the new management & HR dept to save my life if it depended on it - A lot of good people have left the company - Meetings are all about money - Feels like people have become disposable - A series of unfortunate and bad decision making has lead to employees loosing trust in management, It doesn't look like they know what they are doing. - Management isn't interested in improving things , but they would rather change everything and hope the new changes makes it better as opposed to understand what did work and what didn't. - Blindly jumping into new markets and cancelling projects when they realize it doesn't make money.

Hi there, This type of feedback is something we take very much to heart. Thank you for sharing this. Tempo is going through the next chapter of its evolution and yes - I agree - the transformation has been intense for all of us. And so, our connection to each other is what makes Tempo all that it is! Not only great products but more importantly, amazing people. This is why we've created our open door policy with all leaders, an eNPS survey sent out on a monthly basis, a quarterly employee engagement survey, collaborative initiatives stemming out of the surveys and so much more to consistently keep the communication lines open. I've also personally met with employees in 1:1 sessions to have them provide me with their thoughts, insights and ideas on how to best move forward in reaching our goals. I would encourage you to book us some time, when you get a chance, to see how I can help you through this transition and find a way for us to collaborate in taking Tempo to its new heights! Thanks again for the feedback.

Pros

Colleagues are great, super friendly and helpful. Office is nice, snacks are available and location is easy to get to.

Cons

Company always looks for solutions outside, never within the people working for them and does not care for employees' advancement in the Montreal office. Salary reviews are unfair. Employee can do an excellent job and get no raise or a raise so small that seems like a joke. Management is not going great.
