Pros

Tatari's company culture is quite good. Your colleagues are friendly. If you put in your hard work and are willing to learn, you will have a lot of room to grow. Everyone "seems" pretty chill on the outside. And everyone is willing to help you learn and answer your questions at any time. They have unlimited PTO and the colleagues often go out to lunch together.

Cons

The company is growing extremely fast, so be aware of that. There is definitely no hand-holding, which is ok because this is a start up and a new company. However they are moving and growing so fast that they seem confused in the direction of where they would like to grow. This is a very fast past work environment(as expected for a startup). Their on boarding and training process needs a lot of work. They're extremely understaffed and as a new person there, there's barely any training. You pretty much have to learn on the go, which is fine. There's a very high curve and it's shouldn't be expected that you must been be a super star even within a month or two. In fact, most people take time to learn from what I do. But everything is moving so fast and there's no structure with training, so it's quite chaotic and you're on your own. Even if you do the best you can there is no feed back on how to improve when you ask them. HR is really harsh. I have interacted with many HRs. When I was let go it just seemed like they really don't care about you as a person. As for other HRs I've seen, they will let you go but they will be very personable to you and leave you feeling fine. It was not the case with this company. I basically felt like I had my fingers guillotined. Also, they're so understaffed and overworked and you barely have time to even eat lunch. Also, they seem to expect super stars coming in. So if you don't perform at a high level within a short amount of time - Well - off with your head. It really seemed like they care about your as a person at first, but when they let you go, it seemed like they really don't care at all. I understand that this is business. But their HR can do it more in a tactful way. Most people probably act out. Thankfully I didn't.

Thank you so much for your feedback and we will definitely consider all the points you made (on-boarding, HR, feedback, etc.). We are growing fast and along with it, some growing pains, and are working diligently to implement better structure and processes to improve. We are right now implementing an on-boarding process for every new employee goes through a training day where each department will spend an hour providing some background and current projects so everyone can have a more holistic view of Tatari
