Pros
Strong sense of community because of the customers….good for socializing with the public and building relationships/connections and networking but NOT because of the company. I had a few good supervisors look out for me while I was there. Not sure if they are still with the company.
Cons
They will take advantage of you and find things to nit pick even when you are trying your best. I remember working very hard for this company for the 4 years I was there and it was just a waste of effort. I remember passing all of my secret shops for at least 5-6 in a row all perfect scores and on the 7th one they had to FIND something to mark me down just so I couldn’t get another perfect score. Everything is a reason to be scolded or criticized. They wouldn’t properly promote me. They would send me to multiple locations to be a temporary site supervisor but I could never earn the official title. I traveled to 3 different locations regularly. They even talked about sending me out of state for a location but only for a temporary ‘site supervisor’ which meant I was still actually just a shift lead unless they decided on a specific shift/ location otherwise. If someone is traveling around multiple locations and acting as a supervisor isn’t that a district supervisor? They really were just sending me around because those locations needed to be spied on. They always used the excuse that I was so young to be in a higher position…I was in my early twenties and obviously perfectly capable of the work. They just wanted to take advantage. Sarah Mouissa the vp was very difficult to please because she always changed her mind. One day she was ok with something the next day she wasn’t. Looking back I’m very happy I left I just wish I would have left that company sooner because the pay was very poor for the effort I put in.
