My mangers were very big micro managers and do not trust who they hire, even senior hires. They do not trust anything they do not understand. They insist on using AWS for VM’s, database and services… which is like shoving a square peg through a round hole with .NET applications.
All their problems with architecture, coding, environments, on time delivery of features and bug fixes basically falls on the developer who is expected to work more than 40 hours a week, since the managers do.
