Idea -> Live Product pipeline is fastest its ever been after RIF. High trust environment allows many projects to move in flight at once. Team is small and motivated.

Cons

The pace of the insurance industry is hard to disrupt. We can wait a long time for deals to finalize.

The company had a great employee culture, which was mainly cultivated by us. It had some fun projects to work on.

Cons

Leadership is out of control. They don't know how to navigate this space, and like most tech leadership they seem focused on creating a company they can sell instead of a product. I would put no trust in leadership as they have broken it so many times.

Had some really great co workers, and a great work life balance! No one seemed to care about deadlines, super lax

Cons

Upper management fumbled the bag in a major way! Held an AI hackathon then let most of the company go. Not sure how the company still exists. Everyone left is using ai to push code, maybe a handful of engineers. More directors and above than engineers.
