1. Top-heavy – people here are somewhat decent, but it's unclear if they’re good managers. 2. So-called "high performers" with big egos can turn into terrible colleagues. 3. Lack of accountability, with a strong blame culture. 4. Very siloed. 5. Not a good place for learning or professional growth. 6. Succession planning is a real concern. 7. Favoritism. No clear structure for performance evaluation. 8. Last but not least: you must stay on the good side of the leaders of small cliques. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself at the center of gossip and false accusations.
