Pros

1. Supportive colleagues: Co-workers are generally helpful and understanding, largely because everyone is under the same pressure and trying to support each other. 2. Learning through pressure (not recommended): One may learn to work under extreme pressure, though this comes at the cost of mental peace and job satisfaction.

Cons

1.Misleading HR commitments: At the time of onboarding, it was communicated that there would be a 6-month probation period. Later, this was changed to a 6-month contract, with justification given as taking one day of leave per month, which was never clearly communicated earlier. 2. Poor work culture & work-life imbalance: Official working hours start at 9:00 AM, but employees are expected to leave only after tasks are completed, often extending work hours indefinitely. There is no defined end time. 3. Extreme micromanagement: The organization is highly centralized, with excessive micromanagement by the owner. Decision-making autonomy is almost non-existent. 4. Lack of employee respect & dignity: Employees are treated well only during the initial 10–15 days. After that, respect significantly declines. There have been instances of abusive language on calls when employees tried to explain or correct mistakes. 5. No consideration for festivals or emergencies: There is no value given to festivals, and employees are often expected to work from home without prior planning. During peak season, emergency leave is discouraged or denied. 6. High employee attrition: The attrition rate is extremely high. Employees are hired almost every month, and people leave just as frequently. I have not seen this level of turnover even in small retail setups. 7. Notice period & final settlement issues: During the notice period, employees are required to serve 2 months, and the salary and experience certificate are released only after 45 days of completion, which creates financial stress. 8. Recent example of attrition: During my notice period, a Senior Purchase professional was hired, completed just one month, took her salary, and left due to the same issues—particularly micromanagement. 9. No long-term employee retention: Despite being in existence for 13 years, the company has struggled to grow beyond a certain level, which reflects internal management challenges.
