Pros

- My direct peers were great to work with

Cons

- Upper management is resistant to change/new ideas - Employees are not encouraged to question or present new ideas - Not lenient on letting employees work from home if needed - Not encouraging of work-life balance - No great leadership from management to grow and nurture employees - Employees who have been there for more than 10 years and have become complacent. There are no new, fresh ideas - Tends to be a lot of drama in the office - Rumors of inter-office relations (these people are already married and have kids) - we are supposed to be helping companies with improving their brand/culture but we don't do that here. we have a broken culture

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback! We strive to build a positive culture with more flexibility in the last few years. We have implemented a work from home policy which has been very successful, along with offering a very generous paid time off policy. These changes have been a direct result of the desire to partner and listen to our team to deliver a positive employee experience. We encourage and help with employee development with presentation and facilitation training along with supporting many employees through ongoing training.

Pros

Collaborative and creative work environment -- one of the best I've worked in. Friendly employees Eager to invest in the development of their employees old and new -- I was given professional presentation training right off the bat, from a well-known presentation skills and business development trainer, along with several other people newer to the company. Located in a great area of Seattle, South Lake Union! One of the coolest new neighborhoods. The company is built on a strong foundation (many employees have been here for over 10 years) and since they are in the business of developing and improving cultures, they obviously have to have a pretty good one of their own Beer Fridays!

Cons

The LEED gold-certified building is near Amazon's new campuses, so going out to lunch means long lines -- but obviously no direct reflection on WMG That's really it...

Thank you for taking the time to write a thoughtful review! We take pride in our collaborative and creative work environment and appreciate hearing your employee experience was a positive one. With collaboration being a key to our business, our new office location and space fully supports and encourages information sharing. Lots of food options to walk to at our new location and less congestion with quick access to I-5 and many bus routes! With our continued to growth, we certainly want to invest and grow our team. We appreciate the advice and look for options to provide learning opportunities!
