Cons

They expect employees to move their family to another state and don't tell them that it was for only a few years.

Generally some of the smartest and most well-meaning folks I've worked with.

Cons

Zero synergy. Corporate services is entirely useless. Every department, site, merger, acquisition, etc has a unique culture. No standards - everyone has to figure it out for themselves.
