Pros

Some great team members...who won't be around for long...

Cons

If you saw the happy smiley photos on Welcome To The Jungle - I’m sorry, but it’s a case of false advertising (for a start, all but 5 people in the photos are still in the company). The micro-management is horrendous, there’s an overwhelmingly toxique atmosphere, a lack of trust and generally irresponsible behaviour from the senior management team, dubious employment practices (we have laws in France, you can’t just fire people like that with a forced “rupture conventionnelle”), harassement, incredibly high turnover (most people don’t make it past 4 months), zero communication (aside from a speech from the founder telling us all that we are useless)…If you still aren’t convinced, just to let you know that we were asked to write positive reviews on Glassdoor in the past, and the positive reviews dated June 17th, April 10th and (most definitely) February 26th 2019 are absolutely false reviews written by a senior management member hoping to hide the fact that the company is an absolute joke.

Pros

Nice colleagues, it's a pity that at least half of them are considering to leave due to unskilled management

Cons

- Unskilled micro management that is not able to prevent transmitting pressure on the employees who therefore cannot feel empowered. No gratitude shown to employees when results are achieved - Management doesn't have clear strategy for the company - Lack of transparency - Lack of trust of managers towards employees : managers tend to trust each other without even taking into consideration the employee's point of view - High employee turnover rate - Bad company culture

Unskilled micro-managing Top Management

Pros

Still, there are good points working at Storefront. • You will learn a lot about yourself. For instance, how to handle your frustration because your top managers are not listening at you. • You will meet awesome people that are pretty nice, even if unfortunately exhausted by months of pressure and micro-management by the cofounders. • Somehow, you will still find motivation to stay there. But when this motivation is only based on your colleagues and not your self-accomplishment, then it's time to question why you stay.

Cons

The cofounders have been spreading such a bad culture that you wonder how the company is still living. Micro-Management, Lack of Trust, Arbitrary Decisions, Lack of Rationality, are some biased that have now been embedded inside the culture. Thus, it tends to prevent people being accomplished, feeling empowered, being proactive. Forget about initiatives you would like to pursue and that could be rationale, if it doesn't go in the direction of the cofounders they will never listen at you, even if they finally come to the same conclusions but one year later...
