Pros

Stewart Signs has a genuinely supportive and welcoming culture. The sales team works collaboratively and there is a true sense of teamwork sprinkled with friendly competition. Leadership is approachable, invested in employee success, and provides excellent training and resources to help new team members get up to speed quickly. The company offers flexibility for employees who perform, regular team-building events, and a centrally located office. Having your own workspace is a nice benefit, and the IT team is incredibly responsive and helpful. There also appears to be significant opportunity for professional growth and advancement for individuals who are motivated and willing to learn.

Cons

As with any specialized industry, there is a learning curve when first getting started. New employees should be prepared to invest time in learning the products, processes, and terminology. Other than that, my experience was overwhelmingly positive.

Pros

The commission structure used to be a big "pro" but not anymore

Cons

The culture is the most toxic culture I've ever been apart of. Employees are not valued, they're just a number. You're only spoken to if something is negative or if you're not hitting target. The base salary is such a joke considering what the current job market is paying. $25k year is an insult to professionals in this niche of a role. Management changes rules and comp plans throughout out the year that undercuts commissions, which creates for an environment of hostility and negativity. They find ways to nickel and dime every deal so you're paid less. Additionally, management plays favoritism with sales territories, giving the best territories to whom they favor. There is nothing anyone can say or do about these situations. If you bring up anything to criticize, you're out. Employees run and hide from the CEO Josh. He's a tyrant. The company is owned by one private owner who is in his 80's and doesn't have much day-to-day involvement with the company leaving the CEO to run rampant with decisions that are hurting the company. Stay away from here if you want to keep your mental health in check!
