Pros

Good pay. New tech to learn.

Cons

I got bullied/harassed at work, did not know it was harassment until after I left. If you are on bad side of current Manager, beware because they will do anything and everything to make you look bad. Expect getting blamed for the things that you have not done. Favoritism at it's best. Employee have to train themselves. Everyone is too busy to answer your questions, and they will expect you to know answers to your questions. Company is located quite far. I'll never recommend working for this company to anyone. I had the worst time here. I cried almost everyday and my anxiety was at peak the whole time because of the way I was treated. No amount of money is worth your mental health. Please reconsider if you are planning to go ahead with QC job. There is a reason why there is always an opening for QC associate job. Nobody sticks around for long. Either you leave or they make you leave.

Great people to work with, unsure about executives

Pros

- Managers and Directors are great people who truly care about your growth and well-being. - People are incredibly intelligent and friendly. I was surprised how humble and understanding some people are. - Good benefits, insurance covers mental health services and vision care. - Very exciting technology - you feel like you are doing something meaningful. - During the re-org, executives promoted some really some really productive people - it seems like they do try to recognize talent. - Good systems to make administration work not too painful.

Cons

- Culture has changed for the worse. New executives were brought in and the culture has been changing rapidly from "we're all in this together," to "you will be tossed if that's what it takes". - Untrustworthy executives. When new executives were brought in they mentioned they will retain talent. After about a quarter a big layoff happened. They could've been more honest upfront.

Definitely not as good as it sounded like

Pros

Nice salary/comprehensive benefits; emphasis on work-life balance; free snacks/fresh fruits in lunchrooms; modern facilities; interesting and powerful technology; lots to learn about manufacturing operations.

Cons

Employee turnover; workplace feeling deserted due to hybrid work schedule so it gets lonely; so-so training; could be more inclusive/friendly at times; repetitive work; could have better communication between team members; some Teams meetings are not productive and/or redundant; quality systems and processes need major improvement (written procedures not current and/or not followed, documentation not quality-controlled enough, concerns about data interpretation at times); some colleagues not open to suggestions on process improvement; rush to get new products to market, followed by time-consuming troubleshooting of these new products; restructuring due to near-complete change of upper management affecting job security and leaving gaps in expertise.
