Pros

Nice salary/comprehensive benefits; emphasis on work-life balance; free snacks/fresh fruits in lunchrooms; modern facilities; interesting and powerful technology; lots to learn about manufacturing operations.

Cons

Employee turnover; workplace feeling deserted due to hybrid work schedule so it gets lonely; so-so training; could be more inclusive/friendly at times; repetitive work; could have better communication between team members; some Teams meetings are not productive and/or redundant; quality systems and processes need major improvement (written procedures not current and/or not followed, documentation not quality-controlled enough, concerns about data interpretation at times); some colleagues not open to suggestions on process improvement; rush to get new products to market, followed by time-consuming troubleshooting of these new products; restructuring due to near-complete change of upper management affecting job security and leaving gaps in expertise.

Pros

Unique Technology & Recently updated. Very good for specific applications and research. Respectable pay and benefits if you don't get RIF'd after your first few months on the job. Technology is as unique as a 3 dollar bill.

Cons

Company reduces workforce about every year & is owned by private equity (i.e. - Very unstable/based only on quarterly profits & not individual contributions). High Turnover so DO NOT expect a long career here. Solutions are not valuable to a majority of institutions. The majority of the target market has abandoned the technology due to poor prior experiences and will not reconsider it.
