Not a long haul opportunity

Pros

I was provided a great amount of flexibility when it came to how I worked and was allowed to set my own deadlines most of the time. Came in with zero knowledge with respect to the specifics of what I would be doing and allowed a chance to learn as I went.

Cons

Turn-around was high, especially for those with direct customer and partner contact. Some left voluntarily, many did not. In my opinion, management was micro-managing anyone with customer contact. Based on the totality of my experience, in my opinion this company is not for those looking for long-term commitment or career advancement.

The average employees are generally good people

Very poor leadership; Disorganized; Chaotic; Exceptionally poor work life balance, especially in the Technology Department and C-Suite; Leadership's priority is on selling the company and cashing out, not on improving the company or supporting people

We value the passion, integrity, and innovation of all our staff, and most important share a mutual respect for our employees. Are we perfect, certainly not, however we are making decisions and putting in place strategies to help create a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration. We have made several changes to allow better work life balance, and while there are still time sensitive situations like all complex tech forward businesses, we greatly understand the need for personal time. All Down Hill After New Ownership

People who were still there

Cons

Since the company was sold the company completely lost the heart and soul of what it once was. Ownership is a joke and the only thing they care about are $$$. Employees are no longer cared for and are seen as expendable. Many long term good employees left for what is now a better opportunity. If the new owners think they are running a good company believe me its a no. long term clients have felt the change in the culture and performance of the company and the name TrustCommerce which once held such prestige is no more.
