Overtime flexibility overshadowed by poor management and PTO issues
Pros
Ability to work as much overtime as I could ever want. Freedom with the work day because you are remote and you keep yourself on schedule.
Cons
Gas prices going higher and company won’t reimburse for milage with the new more expensive fuel prices. PTO scheme is a joke 1.5 hours every 2 weeks no matter how much or little you work. So 3 hours a month of PTO. There was company vehicles sitting in the parking lot for months and months yet they refused to let me use a company vehicle for work while I got regular maintenance on my vehicle. So I break down driving between facilities and I then have to get a rental car during spring break so $300 a day almost not reimbursed. I paid that so I could work. Favoritism between other phlebs and higher management. I was never in the supervisor clique so I was abused so many way. They took time from my time card because she said she couldn’t justify it so snap 5 hours of my life I spent working was erased because she didn’t want to have explain why I worked 22 hours for one shift so she just took time away from me.
