This company is super selfish. The owner would just meet you on a random day & tell you that they decided to fire you and would tell you not to come to the office from the next day. There would be no previous warning or they would not give you a second to look for a new job. This company hired me as an engineer. During interview they told me that they were looking for someone for long-term. They would give you the vibe that it's the most secured job and some of the employees work here for 10-20 years. However, they were expecting to get a few projects before hiring me. But they failed to get those projects. During my time, they failed to give me significant work. Spending 9.5 hours (yes, they want you to be in the office for 9.5 hours) with very little work was the most disgusting part. After my few months of work, they thought that they needed more estimators who could possibly be able to get more projects for the company from clients. They fired 1 estimator just 2 weeks before firing me. After firing that estimator on a Friday, they brought another estimator on the following Monday & they hired one more estimator in the following week. After seeing 2 more estimators in the space of 2 weeks, I thought that the company was doing better. But the selfish owner just called me to their conference room on a Friday, told me to lock the door. Then, he told me that they don't want me to come to their office from the following Monday. I asked him politely what the reason was. His answer was that they need to cut short few staffs as they didn't get new projects. Imagine, how would you feel at that time? In one of the most expensive cities, you become jobless within a second because of the company's inability to get new projects. It was so selfish form the old man-the owner! He had zero respect for the employee.
