      Worst startup

      Pros

      Laid back work because there is no work to be done. Since no work I was able to get by working only 5 hours a week without management noticing.

      Cons

      The management is untrustworthy. For years claims that potential work contracts are being turned down. Then recently announced bankruptcy. managment had decency to make all workers work for 2 weeks then announce bankruptcy on pay day and not hand out salary. management had a vocabulary learnt from rap music. management had the creativity of a starting engineer and couldn’t innovate this startup, they used to rely on a smart phd for ideas and got by for years. During Covid pay reductions .

      Revolving door of engineers

      Culture was lax and not corporate.

      Cons

      This place has been a revolving door of engineers... The work seems interesting until you find yourself doing the same tasks day in and day out while being reprimanded about timelines. There really is no culture to write home about. Management is incompetent. One person in engineering management in particular has, hands down, been the biggest reason people have come to hate this company (extensive history of verbal abuse to employees). You all know who this person is. If you announce that you're taking another job, you'll likely be terminated early. Just keep that in mind. COVID resulted in pay cuts with no back pay and continued overtime, as well as layoffs. No vaccine also = no job. Speak up and get terminated.

      Startup environment which means you have the opportunity to try your hand in many fields and learn new skills. You really feel what your contribution means to the company.
