Pros

Just the monet, which is also not worth it.

Cons

Most toxic culture that keeps getting worse. The ceo rarely listens, many problems stay the same and never get fixed. Managers have favorities, which causes tension between coworkers. Teamwork gets worse and morale starts to drop. Employees are expected to work extra hours, and that quickly leads to burnout. Then targets keep getting higher, but rewards stay the same. Many good employees have already left because they were tired of dealing with the same issues. Even with fewer people, the company still expects the same amount of work to get done.

Ineffective, low vibe SF leadership drags global staff - sad!

Pros

The team in Manila is the heart of the business - great team to work with. High energy, committed, and looking to grow.

Cons

Inexperienced leadership in SF drags the business. Given the relatively small size and scale of the business, I experienced and witnessed a shocking amount of stress, heartache, and politics. Unbelievable attrition due to basic mistreatment of their people. The CEO built a low trust and volatile environment where mature leaders burn out. Many of the leaders that do stick around are emotionally detached, ok with inflicting pain on others, and/or have low standards. Getting the right work done is typically a fight and everyone is so frustrated with the stagnation that patience and collaboration is non-existent. The CEO conflates disregard for psychological safety with honesty - high on fear, low on loyalty. The worst US culture I've participated in. Other things to watch out for: Zero ability to keep women on staff in SF. Wins are not celebrated, high effort is spent on punishing people for mistakes. You are not treated as an adult with a life outside of work - if you have an appointment on an in office day, you can't come in late, you have to take a full day from their very limited PTO budget. I would not recommend working here if you value respect, teamwork, fun, or building things that last.
