Pros

Some employees are great but overall pathetic

Cons

The spent over a month interviewing me, requesting interview after interview. I was finally given an offer which was mediocre at best. When I countered the offer they said I would be joining a stable and well-thought out company with a flawless business model. WRONG, after the first week on a Friday afternoon they congratulated me for a great first week. My first week there I solely uncovered fraud within the commission system. After the discovery the addressed it with each of the offending employees deducting payroll and implementing penalties. I didn't even get a pat on the back for saving them thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars. Instead they saw me as a threat because I wasn't a drone like the rest of their employees. I actually thought outside of the box and they secretly despised me for it. The following Monday I was let go without a reason or incident as es explanation. These owners, Lev and Nate are absolute tools with no real vision and no scale-able plan. Beware of imitation CEOs and COOs. They exist at Contactability and trust me when I say they are not looking out for your best interest. You've been warned.

Pros

working from home, off on weekends

Cons

pressure to resale a disgruntled former client, fixing mess made by dishonest sales team, no training. This review is coming from someone who foolishly accepted a work from home Account Management position from this company. I received a week training that consisted of daily Zoom classroom. It was absolutely horrible, and I learned nothing. They told me I would receive a list of past cancelled clients and would be responsible for trying to get them to resign up for services. Well after 98% of your customers are disgruntled insurance agency owners who have wasted hundreds or thousands of dollars without selling a single policy that conversation would never go down good. They started off telling me I didn't have to sell anything seeing that they have their own sales department. This is a lie and they started to harass me to make people come back on board or I had no job. this after only being there a month and still trying to learn the freaking 5-6 unnecessary systems they use. The sales team will lie and tell agents whatever to get a sale and then we were tasked with smoothing it over and covering the lie. They have no set price structure and we are basically trained to sell leads for astronomical rates 5-200 dollars a pop and then when agent has no sucess and calls to complain we lower the price and act like we're making changes on the back in to their geological area, filters, etc. They call again in a few weeks or we call them back as trained weekly knowing they're being screwed but we continue to blame it on agent or staff and tell them they don't have proper procedures in place to work the leads. Basically making them think they're crazy or don't know how to run their business. They are set up on auto-draft and can not receive credit for bad leads if they turn this off. They also can't stop the flow of their leads on weekends and will have to call an account manager to do this. once they come in on Monday and have lots of bogus leads from the weekend we are taught to smooth them over and tell them there is no such thing as a bad lead or I'm the marketing professional and I know this process works, we have lots of successful agents using our product, etc. Which is a brainwashed LIE. Thats why we can't provide you with agent referrals just tell you to check online reviews, which are created by employees of the company. I was abruptly terminated for not resigning up enough past clients after 2 and a half months. I left a great job to come work for these lying fools. please do not waste your companies marketing dollars FARMERS,STATEFARM, etc. agents. they laugh when new agents go out of business after solely using their horrible leads to start up an agency. they prey on new agents that don't have a clue about their horrible reputation. they also have their own in house insurance company so if a lead is actually good do u think they will close it or give it to your agency? think about that conflict of interest for a moment. STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY, YOU WILL DO BETTER ASKING AND GIVING A SMALL GIFT CARD TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS FOR REFERRALS. They track the minutes I was on a call and if an agent didn't want to speak with Smart financial i would have to make small talk with their staff just to burn up minutes. They assign different phone numbers from different states so that if you block them they will just have new reps call from different numbers. you will never be able to stop the harassing calls from their company once you have figured them out to be bogus. They simply hire new reps with different area codes and they continue to call your office daily. horrible California fake management and co-workers they tell you to reach out if you need help but they never really are available to assist when you do.

Pros

Fun work environment but you can literally make more money working in fast food!

Cons

Pay is terrible! They entice you with what ends up being empty promises in compensation... advertising and claiming you'll earn $50,000-$110,000 annual when in reality you're lucky if you make $20,000-$25,000 annual and that's including commission/bonus spiffs... It's A Joke! Your co-workers also steal deals right out from under you, put it in their name and you only learn so by taking the time to research every deal closed by all co-workers. Management nor owner do anything about these problems... it does not matter what rules get broken or who you have to screw over to get the deal, as long as the deal gets closed. And zero benifits.
