Great work and people, but cliquish culture harms fairness

The company actually does some good work and has a lot of great people.

Cons

It's very cliquey there. If you aren't a favorite of leadership, you'll get cut then it'll be blamed on outsourcing or corporate restructuring.

Pros

Work life balance is great. Culture around uplifting talent and contributing positively to community is excellent.

Cons

C level leadership is ham handed in some of their initiatives. Was let go "for cause" with excellent annual reviews, co-workers I supported were all praising my work and shocked I was let go, and I had no write-ups or inclination I was not "meeting their expectations". CEO definitely prefers in office work over remote.
