Pros
Beautiful well maintained facilities. Great location. Wonderful co teachers and bright students. Physical learning resources to build lessons from. Provided a team lunch once a week.
Cons
Asked to take on additional workloads on an ongoing basis without being provided adequate compensation. Asked to develop syllabus, materials and courses that were out of the scope of practice for the staff. Not being able to communicate effectively with management, and met with resistance when any concerns were brought forth. No benifits, no holidays, no sick days. Expected to work 6 days a week during the entire year, with extra workload during the summer months without additional resources or compensation.
