    I worked at Sanofi full-time

    Pros

    Global business
Working with some very smart people
Director of Communications is brilliant woman with a very good head on her shoulders.
Communications team is strong and dynamic group of individuals.

    Cons

Toronto office is having a really hard time. Senior management are not aligned. Very low moral among employees. Approximately half of the Toronto business is made up of contracted employees who receive no benefits or thanks from the company. They are also not allowed to partake in any employee recognition events(summer BBQ) despite the fact that many of the contractors have worked at the Toronto office day in and day out for years.

    Cons

There is nothing that I can really complain about at Sanofi.

I have been working at Sanofi full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Large company with many departments and therefore exposure to many functions within the pharmaceutical / biologics space

    Cons

Intense regulatory oversight and highly technical internal controls. It takes time to learn and navigate the processes.

    Advice to Management

Motivate, align, clear road blocks = Role of upper management. Motivation and Alignment exist on the operational side. Need improvement in clearing internal roadblocks.

    Cons

Grossly underpaid salary (below 25% of industry standard) for the same role, incompetent executive management, trying to save $$ by hiring contractors and firing them after a two-year term.
