      Coffee and bagels and fun staff

      Cons

      Projects are chaotic and dramatic. Owner blames employees for his consistent lack of business sense and decisions making. Inability to get clear direction from leaders or drawings from “designers”. Extremely unprofessional bordering on cruel.

      Great co-workers and the opportunity to learn new skills

      Cons

      Wildly unsafe working conditions (there is literal toxic waste that the owner refuses to dispose of), truly unreasonable hours, unreasonable deadlines, and the owner, Eric Winston. Genuinely one of the worst people I have ever met.

      Pros

      It’s a pretty fun workshop, with interesting people flowing in and out and interesting projects. There’s generally a warm vibe among most of the workers and it’s overall a bit of a sitcom. The projects really are varied, unique, and fun to work on.

      Cons

      There are a**holes very much afoot. You’ll frequently work a 70+ hour week and be devalued if you don’t do it. All overhire are exceedingly expendable. Concern for safety is middling at best. When their contracts ebb away they give you a 1 day notice that you’re out of a job.
