Stable company with a long history, the company will not fire employees except under extreme circumstances.
Cons
The company exists to support the family that owns the company. If you are not family, you will not get promoted nor will you receive anything other than a very minimal cost of living raise.
I've worked at Reliable nearly 20 years now. They have treated me like family. Roughly half of 420 employees have been here 10 years or more. They have many divisions and positions to choose from or work up to. Great benefits including health insurance and tuition assistance. Reliable has been in business 89 years and still going strong.
Cons
Field workers need to be prepared for 6 week temporary layoff in the winter. Unemployment benefits apply though.
Reliable is like a family. Most of the employees genuinely care for their co - workers. They take pride in the company reputation and in every aspect of the business from the employees who work in the field to the office personnel I believe people strive to do their very best,
Cons
It seems like the pay scale can run from very competitive to low. Health care is very expensive.
