Pros

Flexibility, great compensation, work-life balance, company culture (worked in Rocketspace with other startups)

Cons

Could not find many cons for Real Gravity. I was hoping to move to a full remote job when I moved to Los Angeles, but it didnt seem quite possible.

Beware of promises around equity

Pros

RealGravity has some good leadership in engineering, sales and operations. Good learning environment for engineers and other roles - willing to help employees grow in roles.

Cons

The primary con is that this is a company owned by a parent company that is over 150 years old and can not really offer competitive aspects in many regards from benefits, equity, or other general benefits that other companies in NY, LA or SF offer today. When adding up it is not good. More important is that the leadership has continually made promises for equity in the venture which never came true - no fault of this leadership to make this happen but the parent company (leadership should have metered those promises and expectations better).
