Pros

Good hourly pay rate, discounts for plans and phones, advanced notice of upcoming product releases

Cons

You only get paid on the first and 15th of every month, overtime is deducted from your paycheck, store mangers can do whatever they want without fear of consequences, sign on bonus is really a loan you HAVE to repay, company is deeply homophobic, never pays commission even if you sell $10k a month. management can reassign your sales to another rep

Pros

No micro management - because there is no management. They simply ignore your phone calls and maybe get back to you 2-3 days later.

Cons

The commission is a "bonus" which they can take away for any reason - or simply not pay. They will not pay your "bonus" until you quit. At which point they won't pay your final month or two of "bonus" because you are no longer an employee. Great program. This company will be gone within a couple years. They have no interest in their employees, customers, or stores. There is no focus or interest on customer satisfaction. The culture promotes charging customers as much as possible in hidden fees and then "simply don't give them a receipt so the customer can't dispute it." They actually instruct you to tell the customer you emailed them a receipt knowing full well that you didn't. You will work in the store alone 50% of the time or more, no matter how busy of a location you're in. Manager conference calls consist mainly of discussion around who should be fired next for not hitting their goals. There is never discussion around HOW to improve salesmanship.
