      You are involved and responsible for EVERYTHING. Such opportunities cannot be found in other, more established companies.

      Cons

      You are involved and responsible for EVERYTHING. No project manager, no packaging engineer, no simulation, no protyping team. You are the cross-functional team. Upper management positions are held by the old gang. No opportunity for a career growth.

      Pros

      A good place for an early start. You can get in contact with lots of Tier 1 vendors to expand your list of contacts. A good place to learn a plethora of manufacturing methods.

      Cons

      - Use of uncommon CAD software (Solid Edge) would be unattractive for those trying to learn 3D CAD on the job (less applicable to future jobs) - Mind-boggling policy of 6S applied to the company as a whole. Even engineers & team leaders have to spend 15 mins a day to clean up. And yes, that includes toilet scrubbing. - Monthly 6S project result counts as 30% of management's KPI, turning managers into a slave-driver. Employees tend to prioritize 6S projects over actual work.
