That kind of commitment really matters, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t met expectations recently. It’s good to see there are some positives around pay, holidays and the van, but it’s clear from your comments that your experience with management hasn’t been where it should be. That’s not something we take lightly. As you’re a current employee, we’d really encourage you to speak with our People Services team if you’d feel more comfortable to do so rather than line management. The more we understand about what’s not working, the better placed we are to support you and make improvements. We’re glad you’ve called out that pay is reliable, but it’s clear from your comments that something isn’t sitting right when it comes to how patrol and SMR are working together. That’s not the experience we want for our technicians. As you know, SMR is still relatively new and continuing to grow, so there’s a real focus on getting that balance right and making sure it works for everyone. First and foremost, we’re here to help members get the service they need, and to create a workplace you can feel proud to be part of. Your point around being a mechanic, not a salesperson, is heard. As we keep developing how we approach the relationship between patrol and SMR, feedback like this is important in helping us shape things in the right way.
