      - Depending on the group you're in, you will get to do very interesting work, publish papers, etc - Work is chill - Tax free pay - Doha has low cost of living, so you get to save a lot

      - Depending on the group you're in, you may get stuck with a lame project, that has no directional insight from upper management - Being a research institute funded by the government, there is a lack of accountability sometimes on a managerial level, - There seems to be a general lack of motivation, most people there are senior and close to retirement and have no ambition. Those who do have ambition almost always leave.
