Instead of providing meaningful guidance, they tend to micromanage a wide range of activities, which results in misguided directions. The goals set for teams are unrealistic, which creates demotivation. Additionally, the frequency of always-on monitoring chats, meetings, and syncs provide continuous interruptions, often leaving employees feeling drained, hindering their ability to focus on deep, meaningful work. The pay is below market average, and annual raises for even high-performing individuals are far below inflation rates.
