Strong culture but it needs work

Pros

The culture within project agora is overall strong with friendly people, frequent company events, and nice working environment in the office. Some nice perks include 3 additional days off provided by the company as well as working from anywhere during Christmas, Easter and around 1 month during the summer period. You also get to work with some nice clients in Greece.

Cons

Target Alignment & Market Reality: There is a stark disconnect between top-down targets—both internal and partner-driven—and actual market appetite. Management’s reluctance to absorb ground-level field feedback has created unrealistic benchmarks, leading to artificial "underperformance" and team burnout because the assigned numbers do not represent the true capacity of the market. Commercial Collaboration & Role Accountability: The collaboration between Commercial/Sales and Advertiser Success is highly fragmented. Currently, AS operates passively as a reactive "production factory" rather than a proactive growth partner. Without clearly defined roles, ownership, and accountability depending on the specific request, the operational gap makes meeting already aggressive targets highly unrealistic. Team Seniority & Leadership Gap: The operational teams lean heavily toward junior profiles (Executives/Senior Executives), which creates a deficit in the seniority required to drive strategic collaboration, lead meaningful retros, or optimize processes. Compounding this, management frequently operates under the assumption of total expertise while demonstrating a clear disconnect from current market best practices and a resistance to frontline feedback. Structural Training Issues & Knowledge Silos: A "sink or swim" culture persists due to a complete lack of formal product training, meaning employees are expected to deliver high numbers without the company being accountable for setting them up for success. Furthermore, cross-functional knowledge is entirely siloed; recurring SMB and Enterprise syncs function merely as basic reporting data drops rather than forums for sharing strategic insights or best practices. Infrastructure & Technological Debt: The current tech stack is outdated and highly restrictive. Operating primarily on Teams and an old-fashioned CRM (Fresh CRM) with very limited capabilities creates a massive barrier to efficiency. The company lacks modern automation, pipeline intelligence, and AI-driven workflow integrations that allow teams to execute sales efficiently. No career development and super limited opps internally.

Pros

A good choice for someone looking to start their career and gain knowledge in the adtech space. The overall atmosphere is generally positive, and colleagues are supportive. However, the company has fallen behind its competitors, salaries are not competitive, and expectations are often unrealistic. There is a high turnover rate, with employees leaving and not being replaced, which leads to an ever-increasing workload for those who remain.

Cons

- Salaries are not competitive compared to the market. - Unrealistic expectations and heavy workload. - High employee turnover, with no proper backfilling of roles. - Company has fallen behind competitors in the adtech space. - Limited long-term career growth opportunities.
