1. Quality of work is very low because the company follows ancient practices for chain of command while promoting people arbitrarily and not based on their skills. Most seniors can’t even write a decent POV while reviewing your work.
2. Dark patterns in your contract. Read and sign your offer letter carefully. A bunch of bonuses and variable payouts are designed to keep you trapped there to not ‘lose out’ on your bonus; 3 month notice period to get out of paying you a fair fnf in case you have to leave in a month or two.
3. Senior leadership lacks empathy which trickles down to managers as well. Your loyalty to the place will not necessarily be rewarded with consideration by them during your time of need.
