Pros

Talented team using latest VR technology. Location is good.

Cons

It is literally a Producers sweatshop. It is like something from the dark ages. Their Producer turnover rate is incredibly high. Chew them up spit them out - with lasting bad memories.

Pros

Reading other reviews, I felt compelled to write a review from the perspective or a current employee and specifically of one who sits within the Production team. This is because my experience has been totally different and I felt other reviews were skewing the current experience of PRELOADED. My experience has been so different in fact, that I took up a permanent seat in the team after being freelance at PRELOADED for 3 months. I had no thoughts of joining a team on a full time basis up until this point, but was won over by three key things that I felt I would struggle to find in most businesses. Firstly, flexibility. Like most people having a family and not living in close proximity to the studio felt like something that would be a deal breaker, but the management team bend over backwards to accommodate each and everyone's needs, to help strike a balance between work life and home life. Secondly, innovative projects. Literally all the projects I've had the chance to work on have been great experience and portfolio worthy work. Again, management have ensured a good split of work across the production team, and I personally have been able to work on Global apps, VR installations, AR mobile experiences and mixed reality experiences. Lastly, Autonomy. Production in most teams I've worked with means timing plans, margins and wrangling a team. PRELOADED however, have championed a much more autonomous and broad role for the producer where you can build client relationships and help drive creative direction and decision making without ego ever being a factor. This is a small team who get on and really support each other, this in turn, means that people really take ownership of the work they do.

Cons

Driving new business is something that I haven't had an opportunity to be involved in, so more exposure to business direction and processes would be a bonus.
