Not the best, far from the worst.

Pros

Very casual atmosphere, Very busy place with plenty to do. If you like working on a half dozen projects simultaneously it's great. Pay is good for firmware developers. Most of the managers care about their employees.

Cons

Extremly poor communication between managment and employees. Project requirements are only defined after a final design review. Constant threat of the company going under, or being replaced makes for a very stress environment. Pay is poor for everyone except for firmware developers.

Culture here was amazing. When you are stumped while trying to diagnose the problem there would be an engineering team where you can freely go up to them and resolve the problem simply by discussing the issue. Free food is provided, beer o'clocks, ping-pong challenges, arcade games and gitone. Doesn't feel like you're working. but things get done.

Cons

End of month seems like an apocalypse. Sending out last minute shipments and orders to other business units/ customers. Some times quite un-organized and it would take hours to get the information.
