      Great development opportunities but outdated management style

      Pros

      Good place to develop your career as EIT as well as senior engineers. There are lot of smart people to work with and fun projects to explore. There is also activities committee that organizes on various interesting gatherings outside of work. Gym and massage room offered for employees.

      Cons

      Office is pretty old and company has an old management style that an engineer could have 5 layers to go to CEO. Communication between teams is limited as they do completely different business.

      Pros

      I’ve had a very positive experience working at Powertech Labs. The biggest strength is the people—my colleagues are knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help. I’ve been trusted with meaningful work, given opportunities to take ownership, and encouraged to keep learning and growing. The projects are technically interesting and often have a real impact, which makes the work feel rewarding. I also appreciate the flexibility, work-life balance, and the respectful culture across the organization.

      Cons

      Like any growing organization, some internal processes can be slow, and coordination between different teams is not always as smooth as it could be. Priorities can also change quickly, so you need to be adaptable and comfortable taking initiative. Better tools, clearer processes, and faster decision-making would make an already good workplace even better.

      Pros

      This a place where you can foster your own future if you are committed and creative. A place to learn due to availability to amazing pool of experts willing to share knowledge. Opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects. A company that care about its customers and employees. Despite being a consultant company, not layoffs during Covid. Excellent benefits including pension and vacation.

      Cons

      Salaries are constrained by public sector rules despite operating as Profit and Loss company.
