Pros

Potential good introduction into federal contracting, field teams seem to have decent leaders in place on contract.

Cons

Disgraceful corporate team. HQ team does not realize that employees are present for meetings in shared space and overhear corporate staff speaking ill of one another. I was very shocked to see a lack of knowledge in HR and Finance. Perhaps interns are used for benefits and accounting which may attribute to the lack of professional behavior. Recent turnover in leadership came with dishonest explanations. Requests from BD for proposals are more demands than requests and team is very aggressive. They may not realize that most employees have a full time job creating revenue for them, many are happy to help expand business but expect respect when asked.

Pros

The consulting experience is the same as everywhere - it depends on the team and the client.

Cons

Reviewers who contributed to the CEO's very high approval rating on Glassdoor must be protected by their team leads in the field. Headquarters level is a mess. The CEO is a bully who plays favorites. The most hard working and effective managers in the company do not get a kind word or the chance to defend themselves from irrational humiliating attacks unless they are in her inner circle.

Pros

- Overall good work-life balance - Overall friendly co-workers - Generous PTO compared to other similar companies in the DC area

Cons

- Managers and leadership don't listen to the complaints of employees. Even if they did, they certainly don't act on it. - Poor transparency at the management level and up - Backward attitude towards technology (from laptops to communications to workflow) in general, especially for a company that identifies itself as having technological expertise - Outsourced IT (one of the main reasons behind its poor tech capability) - Raises are rare - Managers and leadership in general tends to react to the demands of clients rather than lead clients - Leadership does not fulfill its promises
