      You can’t outwork bad leadership

      Colleagues are smart and hard working. Genuinely enjoy the people I work with day to day.

      Cons

      There is no other company where the lack of leadership skills from an executive team would be tolerated like it is at Polly. High turnover - One of the biggest issues day to day is lack of institutional knowledge within the company, and a large part of that is the consistent letting go of employees with multiyear experience. I have never seen so many good coworkers let go from one place. The first time it happens you think there must have been something you didn’t know about going on behind the scenes. By the fifth time you realize it’s not just intentional, but strategic.

      Pros

      Polly has been a great place to work. The people are smart, supportive, and genuinely care about customers and the company’s success. I’ve appreciated the opportunity to take ownership, learn quickly, and work on meaningful problems. Like any growing company, things move fast and priorities can shift, but overall the environment is collaborative, positive, and rewarding. I’d recommend Polly to someone who wants to work with great people on a strong product in a company that is still growing and improving.
