      Terrible Working Environment with Tyrannical CTO

      Pros

      If you have the skills to do the work they pay very well. Some coworkers are very nice and helpful. Project has great potential.

      Cons

      CTO is an authoritarian dictator. Some coworkers are terrible, unhelpful, and full of themselves (think they're the boss) Project itself is terribly designed and work is a pain.

      It was a good place to work, but not anymore

      Pros

      Good friends. Not a lot of stress. Decent pay, a bit on the low side. You learn a lot building the API.

      Cons

      They sold the company and now it is owned by a guy called George Orwell, straight out of 1984

      Remote work Ability to have autonomy Salary is okay Exciting insustry Some really good people work here

      Cons

      No processes Too many teams but somehow nobody knows what to do or who does what Priorities shift weekly, if not daily Product is held together with string/ not stable Support for product is poor because the product is unstable and there are not enough staff No HR - someone could curse me out and I wouldn't even know where to turn No true culture - was lost in the acquisition
