Pros

None. See below for cons.

Cons

Soul suckers that think they understand the healthcare business but have no clue. If they don’t like you they don’t even offer you an exit interview. Recent graduates should understand that they do not understand how to treat human beings with dignity. They even call you out for small things like taking doctors appointments during the day and not having a green status on slack for a moment. They look down upon people bringing up any sort of mental health issue at work since “it does not belong in consulting”. Their mentorship program is the sorriest excuse for the lack of an HR department that I have ever seen or heard of. And if you think your career will grow from a move to Pathstone, you should absolutely think twice.

Outstanding Firm and Team!

Pros

Pathstone is rapidly growing boutique healthcare consulting firm that drives tremendous value for their clients and employees. The collaborative environment and entrepreneurial mentality has been great for my growth and development as a new Associate Consultant. It is amazing how even as an Associate we get the opportunity to work closely with clients on a daily basis. A week after onboarding I was already heavily integrated into my team and working closely with my fellow coworkers and the client. Throughout my first month here, I can see that each and every person here live for Pathstone's values and will go above and beyond for each other and our clients. Overall, I couldn't be happier about starting my career at Pathstone!

Cons

No travel so far due to COVID so can't wait for that to pick up and to meet clients. Otherwise, the firm and people are great!

Pros

Pathstone has been great so far. Working at a small firm offers the ability to take on more responsibilities outside of your usual job title which brings a wide array of challenges and problems to solve for. The firm culture has been by far the best part of working here, ensuring that we stick to the start-up roots and challenging the corporate status-quo.

Cons

As others have mentioned, the start-up nature of this firm relies heavily on its people and managing a good work-life balance can be tough at times. This generally varies by week and client you're working with but given how in-demand our work is, it can sometimes be difficult to manage.
